problem with executing file in linux

hi guys, i have a problem with intercepter in linux.
the problem happens when i try to execute the file intercepter_linux in terminal using ./intercepter_linux command> i have my permissions done correctly but i don't know why i cant execute it>
it returns a (bash: ./intercepter_linux: No such file or directory) and nothing happens although the file is there and permissions are all set> i'm using kali linux 2016.1 distribution.
any help would be appreciated thank you.
ps: i extracted the file and not doing it without extracting cause i got some replies in other forums saying i have to extract the files first.
